The Saudi Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has enhanced marriage e-contract services by enabling digital issuance and renewal of marriage registrars’ licenses through the Najiz.sa portal.

“The step is part of the ministry’s push for user-friendly services and comprehensive digital transformation,” the MoJ said.

Available through the Ezawaj.sa platform, the marriage e-contract service has been expanded to cover all Saudi regions, after a successful pilot in Riyadh.

The service fast-tracks procedures and increases digital integration with various public agencies. The e-platform dispenses with paper marriage contracts and registrars’ record books. It also spares clients visits to courts (for certification), medical centers (for premarital screening), and the Civil Affairs Agency (for registering marriages).
