The female staff of the Saudi Ministry of Justice (MoJ) have served over 30,500 clients in 2020, the MoJ announced. The MoJ employs 1,814 women in several positions, such as legal and social specialists, clerks, senior programmers, and notaries.

“The female staff work in various fields, including IT, management of claims and dates, mediation and family counseling, handling complaints, and tech,” said Norah al-Ghunaim, head of women’s department.

According to the ministry’s statistics, licensed female lawyers were up 66% in 2020 compared to 2019, totaling 1,029 by the end of 2020. In addition, 1,680 female trainees have enrolled in the lawyer qualification program offered by the Justice Training Center.
